I predicted 26. I'm pleased with my ability to see into the future.

Lets just pretend the HMV sales chart rules supreme instead, and forget about the rest ah? Wink

I thought top 20 at lest, ridiculous charts. HMV is a far better representation of the album

Someday soon you're going to happen

I think the HMV version is much better - it shows Delays as higher than Madonna, which is about right, methinks.

    Bollocks to that!

The HMV chart definetely shows them in a more accurate light. Let's pretend the other one doesn't exist. Smile

Tell you what though, I think I can speak for most people on here when I say I'd rather have a brilliant album that made a crappy impression on the charts than a crappy album that made the No1 spot.

    Is anyone listening?

Sad [:(] Re: Album is no 26 in the charts

Oh, I'm trying to be placated by the HMV chart, but it ain't working.

I don't get the music buying public at all. How can Duffy still be up there, with what is basically a poor imitation of a McAlmont and Butler LP? Is it just the hype? All very frustrating.

I'm fucking sick of reading about chart positions. Fuck off, get to a gig and pull some shapes.

    Don't worry. Be happy.

Oh dont get me started, people are band wagon jumpers, it really annoys me.

26 is ok, but really wanted a top 20 for the guys. Its so unjustified such a unique, euphoric album gets overlooked by the majority for tiresome tripe that all sounds the same. I didnt mind bands like Pigeon Detectives but their popularity annoys me because their songs sound the same and have no depth ( just one example).

Aaahh so people can we try keep the album in top 30 for next week, or maybe push it into top 20. Lets keep spreading the word, the guys deserve so much more attention for their creations.

    I see colours...

I think No. 26 is bloody great... I really was very worried that it wouldn't get inside the Top 40... 26 is great as an opening bid, lets see how the sales go over the coming months, hopefully it will keep selling at a reasonable pace, especially if they get some decent air play... hurry lads and get another single out... sorry to be a total philistine but I think the boys should considered releasing Cherry, Cherry as a single later in the year, I REALLY think that will bring a lot of new people to the music... yeah it's a kinda cheap shot but it is a great song and very commercial...

    one more for the slaughterhouse

Haha, excellent example. I went to a PD gig and never laughed so much in my life! Seriously, these guys (well, basically it's only the singer) they're just out of their minds! I had the feeling that both the band and the audience were merely pretending to be a band and audience, and trying too hard. All those 14 years old girls were throwing knickers at them!! Why?! Insane insane. And seriously: "You know I love you, take off your clothes" |( Yeah right.

    People are shallow I guess.
