I've just had my hair highlighted with blonde strips and it looks fabulous.  I am incredibly excited about it as I *think* this may have led to me being eyed up by a real life actual quite good looking bloke! (although there is fair chance he was, infact, just admiring the car )  anyway, Dave's pleased with it too and so is my mum

I need a haircut, that always makes me feel better for a day!

He looks after me. Although tonight is the one night I "cook" for him (pizza). I add posh feta to a  bit of salad though.

Oh and I have MSN on the Mac now! Wahooo!

Can't you line up the Kooks in a queue and shoot right through all 4 of them? I have to admit to actually having seen them live. They weren't bad, I just thought they behaved like assholes after the gig, telling the small group of fans to f*ck off as they headed into Amsterdam. How hard is it to spend 10 minutes making them happy with photos and autographs? I was only there because I wanted to compliment the bassist of the support group (Spinto Band) on his violin bass (I did, but apparently it hadn't occurred to him that it was in fact a violin bass. I also got a photo with him and he wanted us to pretend to be chopping down trees - Americans are weeeeeiiiird!)

That 118118 "ask us anything" is being tested.  I've just asked them to name all the tracks on Idoru's debut single. I'm up for a challenge oh yes I am.

Also just had to rescue a very naughty pony from being squashed flat on the town bypass!  Off on it's way to Pony Club when it started to have a hissy fit in it's trailer and then pissed off up the road in rush hour traffic as soon as the owner opened the door to see what was going on. Understandibly wasn't too keen on going in again but it did eventually.  The couple who were taking their daughter out to the event were trying to blame each other for it's escape!  Very amusing, the little girl looked so ashamed

I shall read both during my summer *break*. I'm thinking about using one of them for my thesis, which I shall be writing this autumn ;)

Obviously Neuromancer is an obvious and famous choice out of the two, but I "warmed" to Idoru quicker... which probably means that it's not technically as great as Neuromancer. I'm backwards.
