Anyone else still yet to receive their Blissfields ticket for Saturday night?

Our day tickets still haven't turned up? Is anyone else still waiting on theirs to arrive? Really looking forward to Saturday night though and hearing the album in the flesh as I am now getting into the recorded version a lot. I've just booked our flights from Manchester and our hotel. Me and the Mrs will be there in force. Not too sure about the Whip as headliners though? Come and say hello.

    Sleep

He's shit-stirring again, ignore him...I'd wager heavily he never had any intention of going to Blissfields, knows fine well it's been cancelled and just wants to make a fuss about it all because he's a fucking dick.

    No Catherine. Nothing melicious.

No HQ. Nothing sent. Just checked their website. My friend Albert from Little Hume intended to drive down for Friday night to see the Wonderstuff at the Punch Bowl and has also heard nowt. I'll shut up about Carlisle as it now seems you wont be playing. Two points about Blissfields.

    1. Considering you were high on the advertised bill a proper formal notice should have been put on the front page of the official site.

    2. Hopefully you wont have to deal again with amateurs such as Paul and Mel Bliss.

Oh dear! Frank is really sorry Betty Blue. I have the most total respect for how you have kept your track record for following the band here, there and everywhere totally GREEN. I really do. No doubt you' ll be getting ready right now for your swim next weekend across thre Irish Sea to get yourself over to Oxegen. But as for how I decide to travel to watch Delays is something that is totally none of your f*c*ing business love. Please have a safe and environmentally friendly trip all the same.

Frank. Keep it simple. Keep in Northern.

Waaahay!!!! - never mind Terry & fake Klair, I reckon Frank and themanwhocan are one in the same!!!!!

I'm ashamed to say I really could do more to be greener... like many people I make each years' driving 'carbon neutral', decline flying when other means are available, recycle, keep a firm check on water & electricity wastage, use non-chemical detergents, etc.  But yes, I could do more, and strive to do so all the time.

You must clearly have been lurking on the old board for quite some time Frank to know enough about me to know how much I do, or do not travel to see Delays!!   Or perhaps you actually know me??!!!...hmmmm

Strange concept as it may seem to you though, it is actually possible to get from mainland UK to Ireland without flying - as I did earlier this year for the Belfast & Dublin gigs.   Oxegen however is not on the agenda for me this year, not having the extra time needed for the ferry crossing and not prepared to use a carbon-laden short haul flight to get me to a festival that in it's very admirable efforts to be GREEN has hooked up with the Carbon Neutral Company.

Luckily I live in a country where we must surely have more festivals per head than any other.  So FLYING to another country to go to a festival which is striving to be as GREEN as possible would to me be utterly shameful when there are so many -and so many which Delays are playing at too- on our very doorstep.

I realise this is a personal view, and fair enough if you feel annoyed at my seeming to inflict my views on you.... but hey don't worry, won't be long before there isn't a planet earth left to sustain life on anyway Wink

I take your wishes for safe & environmentally frienly future travel, and thank you for them.  X

Betty Green, you are more than welcome. Please feel free to pop in for a cup of tea next time you are up North and me and the Mrs will give a free guided tour of Moss Side in our brand new Citroen low CO2.
